I have always been super skeptical about certain baby products. With so many products on the market… It’s hard to differentiate between what is a necessity and what is unnecessary. Periodically, I feel that when you read certain reviews they are bias in helping to just sale their product. So, here are dozens of reviews on the dock-a-tot and my own HONEST review!
I did love the packaging when it came to the door!!

I think it’s almost all of cracked up to be besides my babies did NOT sleep as well as everyone claims!!!! Convenient, safe, cozy, but definitely not helpful with sleep. @mandiaimone

I LOVE our dockatot. My daughter slept in it until she was 5 months old, we even transitioned her into her crib with it and it helped a lot. We took it traveling with us when she was young and it worked great everywhere we went. It is one of my baby products I would recommend the most!! @rileyanne1
I love my dockatot! I tried a few nights without it and my baby was up almost every hour on the nights without it. She’s slept amazing with it and the peace of mind alone that it brought when she was first born was worth every penny. We just moved her to her crib with her dockatot and it seems as if she has no clue she’s sleeping in a new place since her dockatot makes it feel the same! @mrs.brookesearle
Ok so I was definitely skeptical when I bought it but I had heard so many great things. Sleep is so important to me and if I’m not getting enough I feel like I can’t be the mom I want to be. I finally broke down and bought it and within a few days my 2 week old baby was sleeping 5 hour stretches at night! It just got better and better as he got older. He was sleeping through the night by 8 weeks. I also loved being able to have him close to me in my bed. Definitely worth it!! My boy has been all of the sudden waking up so much and I really was debating buying one but the big one is $260 @kyleesdart
I love my docatot. I was hesitant because of the price but have used it every single day. He is kind of getting too big for it now at 6 months. I would recommend getting a pattern because the white kind of stains a little with spit up. We have used it as a portable bed on trips as well as in his bassinet for added comfort. But with every baby item it varies from kid to kid. I love all our gadgets including our mamaroo but have heard many babies didn’t like theirs. Hope that helps! – anonymous

We have one and love using it for my 3 week old little guy! He loves napping in it, and I love that I can take it from room to room very easily throughout the day depending on what I’m doing. It’s great for going on a picnic or to a beach too. I feel like I also have to say that we received it for free to review with my blog, I don’t know if I would have bought it with how pricey it is since we don’t co sleep. But we really do love it 👍🏼 @madidwhite

For the first few days of using the Dock-A-Tot for my little one week-year-old baby, I didn’t notice any difference in his sleep. As the days went on he seemed to sleep better, but of course, he still woke up during the night. No surprise! 😉 My expectation of using this product was that my baby was going to sleep like an angel. Well… let’s face it. They are babies, they will cry and wake up when they are newborns. So I was a bit disappointed at first, but it’s because I wasn’t getting enough sleep and hoped this was going to be some miracle baby sleeper for me and the baby!! 😜 We all wish it was, huh?
After using it for a few weeks I began to realize how convenient it was. I can use it everywhere! I can set the Dock-A-Tot on the counter when I’m washing dishes, I can set it on the couch when we are watching TV, when I’m doing laundry, etc! I can even put it up high so my 2-year-old doesn’t touch him. My favorite place is to use it… on my bed! Yes, I put the Dock-A-Tot on the bed next to me. He is safe and close by! I can get close, and snuggle with him. I do love just reaching over to put his binky in so quickly. I was never able to do any of those things with a Bassinette. Overall, I feel like the Dock-A-Tot is a great product!
If, your baby is struggling with sleeping or you’re looking for something more convenient this is for you! If finances are an issue then I would say…u don’t need it.
