Join us on this fun and traditional train ride to the North Pole! A family favorite, this 90 minute round trip to the North Pole includes hot cocoa and Mrs. Claus’ famous chocolate chip cookies. You’ll sing along to new and traditional Christmas favorites on the way and be entertained by our hosts, elves and chefs. When we reach the North Pole Santa will join us for the return trip and greet each child and present them with a special gift.

November 25- The spectacular Christmas lights will be turned on at 5 pm

SANTA SLEIGH RIDE at the Homestead Resort (November 26th-Dec 23rd)

Beginning Nov 26th thru December 23rd. You can bring your family and go for a horse drawn ride to see Santa Claus himself. Rides begin at 3:30 in the afternoon and run till 8:00 at night. After your ride and time with Santa don’t miss out on a great dinner at Simmons Restaurant at the Homestead. If your just looking for some Christmas time goodies, we will have hot chocolate, cookies, pastries and more available for purchase. All Santa Sleighs are group rides. See above for private sleigh information. In case of inclimate weather or lack of snow, sleighs will be swapped for horse drawn wagons instead.

Park City Main Street Electric Parade and Festivities 

November 26th 4:30-6:30

Join us as we electrify Main Street! We will be holding the official lighting of the Town Christmas Tree and Main Street lights before the Electric Parade. Beginning at 6pm, Parade participants will leave City Park and proceed up Park Avenue to Main Street.

To make this a great event, we need you to be a part of it too. Come join the fun, light up your car or bicycle, and be a part of the parade. There is no cost, but you do need to register. Contact Lisa Phinney.

Additional Activities Include:

  • 4:00 – 6:00 pm:  Santa will be strolling Main Street
  • 5:00 – 7:00 pm:  Holiday Carolers
  • 5:30 pm: Lighting of the Christmas Tree in Miner’s Park
  • 6:00 pm: Lighting of the Main Street lights
  • 6:00 pm: The Electric Parade Departs Miner’s Hospital for Main Street
