The Lantern Fest is one of our favorite events of the whole year! It is a “MUST DO” and definitely needs to be on your bucket list!

Make sure to bring chairs and blankets!!!! You will for sure want chairs!
Arrive early! There are so many fun things to do. Face paint with the kids, bouncy houses for kids, characters, dancing, music, fires for smore’s pits and yummy food trucks.
It’s super fun for little kids as well. Make sure to hit up all the booths.
When you get their early you have a better selection of where to sit. Sit closer to the entrance so you can get out of their faster.
Get a fire spot! They fill up fast and it’s fun to warm up with marshmallows. I think it’s fun to bring extra stuff because they give you one s’more and you are there for a couple hours. They give you sticks as well.
DON”T BRING COOLERS FOR YOUR DRINKS YOU WILL HAVE TO TAKE THEM BACK.
If you can bring one of those longer lighters! It will be easier to light your lantern!
I would bring a wagon over a stroller to store all your stuff! It is gravel when you get there. Little hard to pull.
Bring blankets – it gets chilly and it’s fun to cozy up and watch the festival!
When you park for the lantern festival park at the closet spot to get out of traffic. IT GETS CRAZY AFTER!
Bring your own water! Sometimes the lines can get long and it can be hard to find!
Bring a flashlight this will help you a lot after the lanterns are gone.
